Welcome to Woodsmith Jewelers! With over 40 years of experience in a family-run tool and die business serving the jewelry industry, I’ve cultivated a deep understanding of metalworking and an unwavering dedication to craftsmanship. Combining this expertise with my passion for woodworking, I founded Woodsmith Jewelers in 2010 to create unique, handcrafted pieces that tell a story. My journey began with creating earrings, necklaces, and other jewelry items, blending the beauty of wood with the precision of metal. The acquisition of a lathe opened up new creative possibilities, leading me to craft personalized chess pieces that quickly became a customer favorite. The positive response and interest in these bespoke chess pieces have inspired me to make them the primary focus of Woodsmith Jewelers. While my current focus is on chess pieces, my love for making jewelry remains strong. I'm excited to announce a new collaboration with my family to launch our second Shopify and Etsy shop, SKJewelersDesigns, where we will offer beautifully crafted silver lockets and necklace urns.
